ManualThe door

When they push back

Answer the question they actually asked. Then let them end it.

A pushback is information. Meet it in one or two sentences. Do not pivot into a speech you prepared in the car. The practice desk in this app has lines for the doors you will actually hear.

The pattern

  1. Repeat the concern in plain words so they know you heard it.
  2. Answer only that concern.
  3. Ask if that covered it.
  4. If the answer is still no, thank them and mark the door.

Say

Understood. I'll mark not interested, and I won't knock here again. Have a good evening.

Do not. Do not mock them, quote them by name later, or stay to win the porch.
